The curation of new form belongings shapes the material and immaterial identities. Casting concrete can be divided into three object stages: the original object, the cast mold, and the new object. The congregation of objects attempts to create a new common ground, where the casts shift and
blend to introduce a unique topography.

This project consists of two parts: first, a material exploration – testing the concrete mold and the viscosity it encases – and second, the negative mold peeling off the objects to form a new landscape. These divorced material pieces create a collective museum of the self and affinity. This project aims to disheveled tectonics and looks for a flaccid strength to delineate and embrace an “uncertainty” material experiment study.

TOPOGRAPHY

The collection comprises an array of forms exhibiting variations in topography.

INDIVIDUAL UNIT
Detailed depictions of individual topographies accentuate the distinctive characteristics inherent in each object.

Documentation of Process

Work in the Syracuse University fabrication lab

The work-in-progress documentation images provide a comprehensive visual representation of the various developmental stages within this project.
